Good Enough to Show You

I've been working on collecting and sorting nursery rhymes and vintage nursery rhyme illustrations. The site isn't finished yet, but I think it's good enough to show off a little.

Let me know what you think. And keep your eye on this space for announcements when I add new stuff.

Hi Barbara:

This is a neat site...nostalgic, quite entertaining, and informative. But, of course, I always enjoy your work, which is why I subscribe to your premium newsletter. :)

Naomi:

Yes, yes! It's very good enuf to show off a little. I felt quite "emotional" - my childhood was filled with such rhymes. And the pictures are wonderful, too.
Hope you had a happy Hannuka.
Yours, Naomi

Hi! I find this site FANTASTIC! I'm a teacher far away in Argentina... and sometimes find it hard to come across such good material. Congrats on your work! Fabiola S.

Linda:

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for putting these online, good memories refreshed and new ones made with these. As always you introduce remarkably interesting knowledge. Linda

I like the basic look and feel of the site, and the scope of the entries (such as the inclusion of one of my personal favourite authors of funny verse, Ogden Nash), but I notice that you seem to have some minor errors in addition to the incomplete nature of the site. In specific, you have filed Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Land of Nod" under "Poems by Ogden Nash", where it seems quite out of place (by style as well as, of course, the critical criterion of authorship). :)

Apart from that, the site looks to be another useful resource compilation, and you are to be congratulated on its creation. Kudos! :D
